Mukurthi National Park
Mukurthi National Park is located in the Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu. It is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and is known for its montane grasslands and shola forests. The park is home to the Nilgiri tahr, an endangered species of mountain goat, as well as leopards and a variety of bird species. The park’s high-altitude terrain offers stunning views and is an important conservation area for endemic species.
