Known as the “Amazon of the East,” Dehing Patkai National Park is located in Assam and is part of the larger Dehing Patkai Elephant Reserve. The park is covered in dense tropical rainforests and supports a rich diversity of flora and fauna, including elephants, tigers, and several endangered primates. The park is a hotspot for birdwatching, with over 300 species recorded. Its rainforests and rare biodiversity make it a crucial conservation area.
