Herons are large, wading birds known for their long legs, necks, and sharp beaks. They are commonly found in wetlands, marshes, and along riverbanks. Herons are skilled hunters, using their beaks to catch fish, amphibians, and small invertebrates. They are often seen standing still or slowly stalking through shallow water in search of prey.
