The Chital, also known as the Spotted Deer, is a medium-sized deer native to the Indian subcontinent. It is recognized by its reddish-brown coat with white spots and is often found in forested and grassland areas. Chital are social animals, usually seen in herds, and are known for their gentle demeanor. They are herbivorous, feeding on a variety of grasses, leaves, and fruits.
