The Barking Deer, or Muntjac, is a small deer known for its distinctive barking call, which is used as an alarm signal. Native to South and Southeast Asia, it is a solitary and secretive animal that prefers dense forests and scrubland. Its small size and ability to hide make it a challenging animal to spot in the wild.
