Kanha National Park, located in Madhya Pradesh, is one of India’s most renowned wildlife sanctuaries. It is famous for its population of Bengal tigers, barasingha (swamp deer), and leopards. The park’s landscapes are a mix of sal forests, grasslands, and streams, offering an ideal habitat for a wide variety of wildlife. It is one of the inspirations for Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book and is a major center for wildlife tourism.
