The Rusty Spotted Cat is a small wildcat native to India and Sri Lanka. It is known for its distinctive rusty-colored spots and its small size, making it one of the smallest wild cats in the world. Rusty Spotted Cats are solitary and nocturnal, feeding on small mammals, birds, and insects. They inhabit scrub forests and grasslands and are critically endangered due to habitat loss and poaching.
