Hornbills are large, colorful birds found in tropical and subtropical regions of Africa and Asia. They are known for their distinctive, curved bills and large casque on top of their beaks. Hornbills are frugivorous, feeding primarily on fruits, but also consume insects and small animals. They play a crucial role in their ecosystems as seed dispersers and are often seen in pairs or small groups.
