The Ganges Dolphin is a freshwater dolphin species found in the Ganges and Brahmaputra rivers of India and Bangladesh. It is critically endangered and adapted to life in riverine environments with a long, slender body and a reduced dorsal fin. Ganges Dolphins are known for their elusive nature and play an important role in their aquatic ecosystems. They primarily feed on fish and small aquatic animals.
